With a seemingly never-ending array of cheap flights to Las Vegas, it’s easy to get to town for a long weekend. And by long weekend, I’m talking about Labor Day. Yes, the final hurrah to summer, the last chance for the majority of the population to party on a Sunday night without having to wake-up for work the next morning. Labor Day marks a final wave goodbye to the official summer days.

If there is any place in America to spend the Last Weekend of Summer, it’s Las Vegas. Sure, the pools will still be open beyond Labor Day (it is the desert after all), but your chances to lounge poolside with a cocktail are quickly fleeting.

Las Vegas doesn’t let summer slip quietly into the sunset without a good farewell. In true Vegas fashion, summer is sent off with a super hyped, super fantastic, and super big party. Friday, September 2:

The paint has barely dried at Gallery Nightclub, the newest club to open on The Strip, and it is opening its doors for an all out “Jersey Shore” bash. Two of the main fist-pumpers from the cast, Sammi “Sweetheart” and Deena Nicole, will be dancing (likely on the tables) away the final curtain call of summer. Doors open at the Planet Hollywood hotspot at 10 p.m.

Speaking of “Jersey Shore,” the Palms Casino Resort has got the show’s DJ, Pauly D on deck at the pool party during the day, and then at night spinning at Rain Nightclub. Also at Palms will be Glamorous Vegas, a three-day music festival courtesy of the Ni9e Group featuring The Crystal Method, BT, Gareth Emery, as well as resident DJs Z-Trip and Paul Oakenfold.

Deadmau5, aka the dance music phenom DJ who wears the creepy mouse mask, hits Vegas on Friday night to kick off his two-night performance at The Cosmopolitan.

Clubs not your thing? Circus Circus’ Rock & Rita’s has a three-day “Beer Pong-A-Palooza.” Beginning at 10 p.m. nightly, $30 nets unlimited draft beer and entry into the beer pong tourney. The last team standing each night wins cash and more.

Saturday, September 3:

Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris has got plenty going on the entire weekend. Saturday night, Akon will kick the party up a notch with a performance at the new club. In addition, Chateau Garden’s, the new outdoor expanse of the club which overlooks The Strip, will launch “Under the Eiffel Tower,” a new music series. Thirty Seconds to Mars take the stage for the inaugural event.

One of the world’s best DJs, Tiësto, brings his groundbreaking live show to The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The remarkable show combines lasers, lights, videos and his music to create a memorable visceral experience.

Sunday, September 4:

Want to hit a pool party? Head over to Marquee Day Club at The Cosmopolitan for some late summer sun, cocktails and pool time. Bonus – Fat Boy Slim is performing.
No need to change from the day’s pool attire if you are planning on hitting up mega club XS at Encore at night. Sunday Night Swim, the club’s popular after-dark pool party, features a special set by Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am, along with apl.de.ap and DJ Ammo. Doors open at 10 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 5:
