Super Bowl Sunday is upon us!

Super Bowl Sunday: New Orleans Saints v. Indianapolis Colts

So the “Big Game” is this Sunday and millions of eyes will be tuned in to Miami as Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints march into the war zone against Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts.

Now while the odds makers have predicted Indy to be victorious Sunday, many experts say you can not count out the heart and passion that is the “Who Dat” Nation.

How am I going to pick the Super Bowl winner you ask? Unlike other armchair quarterbacks this weekend, I will ignore Vegas predictions and put aside stats because that is just a boring way to gamble. Instead I will go with the city that wins in these five travel categories.

Nightlife: Well this one is a blowout as New Orleans is nicknamed “The Big Easy” and Indianapolis is dubbed “Nap Town.”  Winner: New Orleans

Cuisine: NOLA is known for spicy jambalaya, tasty Po’ boy sandwiches and gumbo while Indy offers breaded pork tenderloins and biscuits and gravy. Winner: New Orleans

Sports: While both cities are passionate this weekend about the “Big Game”,Indianapolis are pretty serious all year long about sports with an impressive 10 professional teams including the NFL’s Colts, NBA’s Pacers and WNBA’s Fever.Nawlins” offers a wide variety of sports including the NFL’s Saints, NBA’s Hornets and hosts the annual Sugar Bowl and Indianapolis 500. Winner: Indianapolis

Attractions: When visitingLouisiana’s most popular city visitors havea plethora of interesting things to check out like hanging out in the famed French Quarter, gamble at Harrah’s Casino and tour the cemeteries of New Orleans. Meanwhile Indianapolis offers many great museums, the motor speedway and hall of fame museum and the Indianpolis zoo. Winner: New Orleans

Famous Natives: The Crescent City was the birthplace of such popular people as musicians Louis Armstrong (even has the airport named after him) and Harry Connick Jr., actress Reese Witherspoon and Indianapolis Colts’ own Peyton Manning. Meanwhile Indiana’s largest city is home to talk show host David Letterman, musician Babyface and actress Vivica A. Fox. Winner: New Orleans

New Orleans trounces Indianapolis 4-1 in one of the most unofficial, unscientific and unreliable sports predictions on the internet.

Who do you think will win it all this Sunday? Tell us your predictions and enjoy the game!

P.S. Try not to eat too many spicy Buffalo wings this Sunday!
