Families: Families with children eager to visit LEGOLAND or the beach will find the West Inn & Suites a perfect place to spend time with kids.  My family enjoyed a nice swim in the pool and spacious Jacuzzi where my kids played with the floating noodles and were kept safe with the swim vests that were provided poolside.  After our swim, we borrowed a free DVD from the movie library and watched Rio in our room.  The kids loved the free cookies and milk in the lobby before bedtime, along with a game from the cupboard stocked with fun activities. The next morning, we ate heaping portions of breakfast burritos, cereal, and juice and enjoyed our meal on the long picnic table benches in the lobby. 

The complimentary shuttle van is fitted with the booster and car seats necessary to accommodate young children and drivers are happy to take passengers to LEGOLAND for the day. Whenever hotel guests are ready to leave the park, the shuttle is just a phone call away. Other complimentary features that families will enjoy include a microwave and refrigerator in the room, a smoke-free environment, and even cribs, upon request.

Couples: Couples looking for a romantic getaway will find the West Inn & Suites an ideal place with its quiet hallways, plush beds, and the rooms inviting and cozy atmosphere. The lobby is stocked with books to enjoy while curled up by the fireplace before returning to your room after turn down with chocolate and romance waiting for you. The beautiful Carlsbad coastline is several blocks from the hotel and provides a lovely place to spend the day or watch the sunset.  Next door to the hotel are two fabulous dining establishments- West Steak & Seafood which offers fine dining with farm grown vegetables, quality steaks, fresh seafood, and regional wines and Bistro West which has a casual feel where couples can enjoy delicious comfort food with French and Italian influences.

Pet Owners: Traveling with Fido can often be hard, especially when hotels are less than accommodating. Not so at the West Inn & Suites. Pet owners can enjoy all the special features of the hotel while having their pet welcomed as warmly s any other guest.
