Snowstorm is wreaking havoc at many area airports throughout the U.S.

 

Airlines have been updating passengers flying in and out of many airports throughout the country about delays and cancelations due to a massive snowstorm that has hit much of the Midwest and North East.

 

Most of them are also providing travelers with waivers. In other words you will be able to change your flight without being penalized.

 

Here are some airlines current policies:

 

Air Canada: Waivers will be issued to customers traveling February 10 and 11 in and out of Chicago's O'Hare Airport and certain Northeast hubs.

 

AirTran: Waivers will be ussed to customers traveling February 10-12 in and out of Akron/Canton, Allentown, Baltimore/Washington, Bloomington/Normal (Ill.), Boston, Chicago-Midway, Columbus, Detroit, Flint (Mich.), Harrisburg (Pa.), Indianapolis, Moline/Quad Cities (Ill.), New York LaGuardia, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington Dulles, Washington National, White Plains/Westchester County (N.Y.)

 

American Airlines: Waivers will be issued to customers traveling to or from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin February 10. 

 

JetBlue: Waivers will be issued to customers traveling February 10 to or from Baltimore, Buffalo, Boston, Charlotte, New York JFK, New York LaGuardia, Newark Liberty, Newburgh, Pittsburgh, Raleigh/Durham, Richmond, Rochester (N.Y.), Syracuse, Washington Dulles, White Plains/Westchester County (N.Y.).

 

United: Waivers will be issued to customers traveling February 10 to or from Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin.

 

US Airways: Waivers will be issued to customers traveling February 10 or 11 to or from Akron- Canton (Ohio), Allentown (Pa.), Asheville (N.C.), Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Charlottesville (Va.), Chicago O'Hare, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus (Ohio), Dayton, Detroit, Fayetteville (N.C.), Harrisburg (Pa.), Greesboro (N.C.), Greenville (N.C.), Indianapolis, Jacksonville (N.C.), Long Island/Islip (N.Y.), Lynchburg (Va.), Milwaukee, New Bern (N.C.), New York JFK, New York LaGuardia, Newark Liberty, Newburgh (N.Y.), Newport News (Va.),  Norfolk, Philadelphia, Raleigh/Durham, Richmond (Va.), Roanoke (Va.), Salisbury (Md.), Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Pa.), Washington National, Washington Dulles, Wilmington (N.C.), White Plains/Westchester County (N.Y.).

 

Virgin America: Waivers will be issued to customers traveling February 10 to or from Boston, New York JFK, Washington Dulles.
