But, what better way to enjoy this trip especially if you might have a chance at winning a free trip to Fiji through our Crazy in Love with CheapOair contest. Known as one of the most exotic places on earth, Fiji is home to great weather year long and lots of exciting activities to keep tourists coming back for more.

Koroyanitu National Park: Nature lovers looking for a way to see more than just sand and crystal clear waters will appreciate Koroyanitu National Heritage Park. Beautiful walks through forests, grasslands and cascading waterfalls show a different side of Fiji tourists aren't so familiar with.

Visit Navala Village: If you're looking for a glimpse into local Fiji life, don't leave the island without looking for this picturesque village. Located in the highlands, it is one of the few villages where houses are built from bamboo. In accordance to tradition, locals will welcome you with a ritual; ritual will welcome you to the village where the guest must drink a traditional drink from the roots of a tree.

Yasawa Island: Looking for complete solitude and paradise on a popular island? You'll be able to and luckily, it won't be a dream. It is said that the best beaches in Fiji are located on this island. Beach lovers can enjoy miles and miles of white sandy beaches and clear waters to melt the winter blues away.

Mamanuca Islands: With lots of beautiful beaches and clear waters, a popular excursion for the beach lover is to visit the Mamanuca islands. Snorkeling and scuba around Beachcomber island is a must do for water lovers. Nearby is the island of Modriki where Tom Hanks starred in the famous movie Castaway.

Vuda Lookout: Though it may be impossible to not have one stunning picture from the islands of Fiji, it is possible to get the perfect 360 degree snapshot. Head to Vuda Lookout; an elevated plateau with views over the farmlands and mountain rages covered in tropical lush.

Tavuni Hill Fortification: Built in the 19th Century, Tavuni Hill Fort is a true piece of Fiji history. It is located on the highest point of the hill overlooking the Sigatoka River Valley. It was a fort to protect the island, but also the location of houses, cooking facilities and even a killing stone where enemies were stoned to death.

Rotuma: Stunning in site, but remote in location, the isolated island of Rotuma is worth a trip. For the true vagabonding experience, go back in time to this Fiji island province where only one backpacker lodge is located. There are archaeological sites and local villages which are unique and different than the Fiji tourist experience.

Sigatoka Sand Dunes: One of the most beautiful natural attractions besides the sand and water are the sand dunes located along the Coral Coast. The dunes hold great significance as the location of Fiji's earliest recorded prehistoric site.

Fiji Museum: Visit the Fiji museum to not only learn about the remarkable history, but to view a collection of archaeological material dating back over 3,700 years. The museum itself is located in the botanical gardens; another site to see in itself.

White Water Rafting - The Navua River: When you're sick of living the good life; tanning, swimming and beach bumming, adventure is luckily close by. White water rafting in the tropics is a dream come true; to ride the river in warm waters. The rafting tour provides stunning views of rainforest mountains and river forges; another beautiful site on a beautiful island.
