Long known as a city of excess and decadence, Las Vegas is quickly making a name for itself in the foodie scene. From high-end restaurants to quick-serve food trucks, Sin City offers plenty of options for the culinary-inclined.

That's why this year's "Vegas Uncork'd" festival has become one of the most anticipated Las Vegas events of the year. From May 10-13, foodies boarding flights to Las Vegas can participate in the sixth annual festival which will host 50 chefs, 30 sommeliers, and nearly 5,000 attendees.

While appearance from celebrity chefs like Todd English, Charlie Palmer, and Guy Savoy will grab headlines, more than two dozen individual events will take place over the long weekend.

According to a report in USA Today, the "grand tasting" will take place on May 11 at the Caesars Palace Garden of the Gods. Tickets for all of the events go on sale today. Prices range from $75 to nearly $300.
