There's a new trend popping up inside Las Vegas casinos

Gaming can be found just about everywhere in Las Vegas – from the mega resorts to bars, restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations. It’s hard to escape the bleating of the machines when someone hits.

With gaming locations a plenty, and money being dropped easily, casinos are working harder than ever to stand out to visitors when they arrive on flights to Las Vegas. Many megaresorts on The Strip are doing what they can to attract visitors to gamble in their casinos.

Enter the party pit.

What makes a party pit different from the rest of the gaming floor? For one, there is a theme. And two, instead of regular dealers, it’s normally some of Las Vegas’ most gorgeous ladies overseeing the games. Three, it’s, well, a party, there’s often dancing, flashing lights and music pumping through the speakers. There are party pits a plenty these days.

Playboy Party Pit at the Palms: This pit features six blackjack tables with ladies in the iconic Playboy bunny costumes. There’s no dancing here, just gaming. But, it’s still a party. Just opened in late September, the Playboy Party Pit is open 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday and Sunday, and from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Toby Keith’s Party Pit at Harrahs: Toby Keith has long been a part of Harrahs with his restaurant, “I Love This Bar & Brill.” Opened in 2006, Keith’s pit offers nine tables – seven blackjack, one Three Card Poker Six Card Bonus table and one Big Six table.  The country-inspired pit, complete with dancers in go-go cages, is open nightly from 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Pleasure Pits at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino: The two Pleasure Pits inside of Planet Hollywood are a party, there’s no doubt. With music and dancing and a whole lot of sexy, the two pits total 11 blackjack tables, four Three Card Poker Six Card Bonus tables, four roulette tables, two Big Six tables and one Four Card Poker table. There’s no limit on the fun here, these pits are open 24/7.

Gilley Girls at Treasure Island: Girls in spurs and cowboy hats entertain at the Gilley Girls Party Pit. Hailing from Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que, the pit’s got country music videos, blackjack, casino war and three card poker. Its open 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. Thursday and Friday, 1 p.m. – 5 a.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Margaritaville Casino at the Flamingo: Margaritaville Casino is the newest to join the party pit party (with tons of fanfare, complete with the creation of the 8,500 gallon Lucky Rita which is serving more than 18,000 people from Oct. 14 – 23). The pit, which adjoins the restaurant of the same name, offers more than the typical Las Vegas party pit. It’s got 22 gaming tables and 220 slot machines. In keeping with Jimmy Buffett’s island chill theme, there’s a 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar in the heart of the floor.
