  Super Bowl tickets are still available for the big game Sunday

 

 

Still thinking of taking that road trip to Miami to check out the Super Bowl? Well weak ticket sales and desperate scalpers trying to unload their inventory might equate to your best chance at seeing the “Big Game” in person.

 

Now before you empty your piggy bank for a chance at seeing the New Orleans Saints battle the Indianapolis Colts perform in South Florida, prices are still high for average fans.

 

At their lowest prices since the 2001 Super Bowl, which also included the Saints (who lost to the Rams), individuals can pick up tickets for as cheap as $1,200.

 

Although corporate sales were down, experts also blame the lower prices on the fact that two smaller markets will be competing Sunday.

 

Ticket sites like StubHub have stated more fans from Louisiana have purchased tickets than Indianpolis. With New Orleans just a 13-hour drive to Miami,  experts expect a last-hour flood of fans to show up looking to witness the showdown live in person.
