Maldives hotel offers underwater suite

The Maldives Rangali Islands is taking the idea of picturesque hotel room views to a whole new level with the introduction of their underwater glass suite.

Located at the bottom of the Indian Oceans, newlyweds that book the property's suite can enjoy a truly unique experience under the sea.

Formerly used as the hotel's restaurant, sea-life swimming just beside the room include sting rays, parrot-fish and blue-striped snapper.

The room was converted to celebrate the resort's fifth anniversary. Rates for the room have not been revealed, but it is expected to be pricey, as bookings above ground go for upwards of $1,800 a night.
