Where the Partiers Go After the Party: A Las Vegas Guide to After Hourts, Flickr: matchity

Fireside Lounge at The Peppermill

Closing time at the Las Vegas clubs can be a sad thing. Connections made on the dance floor fizzle. Ice cubes melt in the high ball glasses. Security begins to sweep people out of the VIP area and back into the casinos.

But, just because it’s 4 a.m. and the club is closing down, it doesn’t mean the night has to end.

This is Las Vegas. And anything can happen. Thankfully, there are a handful of after hour clubs in town that get this and open their doors once the speakers go silent at the clubs.

There aren’t many, and they come and go, but for those looking to extend the night beyond the club, complete with drinks, dancing and DJs, there are options for the energetic.

Drai’s After Hours: Located inside Bills’ Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon, Drai’s is a legendary after hours spot. Open earlier than other after hours spots, this venue is a great place to rest danced-out feet on plush, oversized couches, sip cocktails and listen to a DJ spinning house before it’s finally time to surrender to the sleep. It’s open Thursday – Monday from 1 a.m. until the desert sun rises pretty high in the sky.

Insomnia After Hours: This after hours party may be located in Olympic Gardens, the infamous strip club on Las Vegas Blvd. catering to both sexes, which only ups the ante for an interesting early morning. Open Wednesdays and Thursdays at 1 a.m. and weekends at 4 a.m., revelers aren’t kicked out until late in morning. The club, found on the second floor of the “OG,” features go-go dancers, drink specials and hookahs, plus a DJ.

Artisan: A stop at this after hours party at the boutique Artisan hotel located just off of The Strip means one thing: a good time. Voted by locals as the number one place to party after the clubs close (or empty out), the weekend events are generally filled with hip people enjoying the bar’s intimate ambiance, cocktails and patio.

Fusion Afterhours: Déjà vu Erotic Lounge is also in on the after hours circuit with its Fusion After Hours party seven days a week. Head here for dancers, bottle deals, DJs spinning electronic music and a party until 10 a.m.

Fireside Lounge at The Peppermill:
Open 24-hours, the Fireside Lounge at the Las Vegas institution, The Peppermill, is quite a scene. It’s not rare to mingle with local celebs enjoying the late night fire pits, sweet cocktails and finger food. While this isn’t a club, it is definitely one of the places to be – at any time of day.

The City of Brotherly Love can experience Las Vegas when the sun comes up using today's travel deal, Philly to Vegas, round-trip for $407, that includes taxes! Be sure to use PROMO code SM17 to take up to $17 off service fees!
