JetBlue is auctioning of celebrity baggage for charity (Flickr:
JetBlue's charity auction runs through June 6

If you want to travel like a celebrity you can almost do so if you participate in an eBay auction being sponsored by JetBlue.

No, there are no private jets or chauffeured limousines in the cards, but celebrity-donated and -signed suitcases, handbags, messenger bags, purses and guitar cases along with other items including photos and CDs, are being auctioned on eBay.

It’s all part of a charity effort by JetBlue and it’s also a means to market the fact that JetBlue doesn’t charge a fee for a first checked bag.

“And, since all first bags fly free on JetBlue, we’ll even deliver your winning bag at no extra cost,” JetBlue says.

Through June 6, you can bid on eBay for these bags, which have been donated from celebs, including Donald Trump, Jessica Simpson, Blake Griffin, Taylor Swift, Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan and many more.

Proceeds from the auction go to, which encourages young people to volunteer to further causes they believe in.

JetBlue says the items are on display in Santa Monica, Calif., where people can view them “and bid on them directly from their smartphones.”

The items being auctioned include an acoustic guitar signed by Taylor Swift, a large suitcase and signed photo from Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Osbourne’s tan Etienne leather purse.

The airline also is urging people to visit its Facebook page, where they can get a chance to win a celebrity bag and JetBlue is donating $1 to for every entry received.
