AA offers new nonstop Chicago-Beijing flights

American Airlines announced Monday that May 25 will be the start date for new nonstop service between Chicago and Beijing with four weekly flights. Flights back from Beijing to Chicago will begin May 27 with the same amount of nonstop flights.

A heftier schedule will begin July 3 with daily departures between both cities. The new route was suppose to kick off April 26, but AA had issues with landing times that China had provided them. Arrivals to Beijing would be at 2:20am and departures from the country would be at 4:20am.

China has since worked with American and the new schedule includes:

Chicago to Beijing:

• Depart from Chicago Fridays and Sundays at 8:30pm and arrive at 11pm the following the day in Beijing.
• Depart from Chicago Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30pm and arrive at 11:59pm in Beijing.
  

Beijing to Chicago:

• Depart from Beijing Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 7:59am and arrive at 7:49am the same day in Chicago.
• Depart from Beijing Tuesdays at 6:59am and arrive at 6:49am the same day in Chicago.
