There’s no shortage of romantic Valentine’s Day ideas for couples in New York City. From strolls through Central Park, to candlelit meals at city’s many romantic restaurants, to cocktails with a view, the opportunities are endless.

But those looking for a truly unique Valentine’s date should look no further than the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. According to the New York Daily News, the NYC wastewater plant will offer special Valentine’s Day tours with an added Hershey’s treat to boot. Each tour-goer will receive a complimentary Hershey Kiss (though they might want to save it until the tour is over.)

So why would anyone be interested in such a tour on Valentine’s Day? “It’s a unique date, and one they’ll never forget,” plant superintendent Jim Pynn told the paper.

Aside from offering a unique look at one of the most important pieces of infrastructure in New York City, the plant also offers some stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
