With LeBron James headed to Florida to play for the Miami Heat, we thought why not help the new resident with a few friendly travel tips about one of the wildest, hottest and fun cities in the United States.

Miami Metrozoo: Just celebrating its 30th anniversary last week, the Metrozoo is home to many rare and endangered animals including crocodiles, tigers, koalas, double-wattled cassowary and the popular Komodo Dragon. Plus LeBron might want to take some nieces and nephews to check out the children's zoo which includes camel rides and a wildlife carousel. 

Miami Jet Ski Rental: We know LeBron is a risk taker, so why not take grab the keys and take to the water via a high speed jet ski. Hop aboard a brand new Yamaha VX Deluxe Ski and hold on tight as you bounce over the choppy waves off South Beach. No membership is required. 

Thriller Miami Powerboat: You're not in Cleveland anymore Mr. James, so be prepared to spend a lot of time in the water. Another great attraction when in Miami is the Thriller Miami Powerboat tour. Tours are available daily throughout the day and head out from downtown Miami's Bayside Marketplace. Strap in as this high speed boat slices through the crystal clear waters of Miami.

Nightlife: Take a stroll down Ocean Drive LeBron and make your way to of over 100 SoBe nightclubs. With so many options you could visit one or more each night up until pre-season kicks off. We figure you will love clubs like Mansion and SET Miami, which are chock full of the beautiful people and A-listers.

Fun in the Sun: After a long night out you may want to just grab a towel, some sun block and relax at one of Miami’s beautiful beaches. Top choices include South Beach, Virginia Key Beach, Haulover Beach, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park and Homestead Bayfront Park & Marina.
